Re: DM: Data mining in bibliometric analysis?

The following paper describes a system that, in part, mines
relationships
from bibliographies for use in collaborative filtering.
Unfortunately, last
I checked the system was still not publically accessible (it couldn't
handle the load once their paper appeared in CACM).

Social
Networks and
     Collaborative Filtering. CACM 40(3): 63-65 (1997)

Subject: DM: Data mining in bibliometric analysis?

Data mining would appear to be very relevant to 'dredging' large
bibliographies for
related concepts, co-ciations etc. Does anyone know of anyone using
the
approach of dm within this context?
