SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT POSITIONS
National Center for Scientific Research "Demokritos", Athens, Greece

The Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications of NCSR 
"Demokritos" is
looking for Software Developers to join its Software and Knowledge 
Engineering
Laboratory. The Laboratory exploits techniques from the areas of 
Language
Technology, User Modeling, Machine Learning and Multimedia Technology 
to
develop user-friendly systems that address the issues of information 
overload
and multilinguality.

The following qualifications are required:

- Fluency in Greek and English
- BSc-level (or higher) degree in Computer Science or related 
discipline
- Strong programming skills in at least one of the following: C/C++, 
Tcl/Tk,
Java, Perl, Prolog

A postgraduate degree or significant experience in Language 
Technology, Machine
Learning, or User Modeling would be a considerable advantage.

The position may be combined with studies leading to a PhD degree.
