                   Second International Workshop on
                       Biomolecular Informatics
                   Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA
                    February 27 -- March 2, 2000

                         In conjunction with

Fifth Joint Conference on Information Sciences

Integrating Information Science with Molecular Biology

The Biomolecular Informatics workshop will be a forum for
practitioners,
researchers, scientists, educators, students and users to explore new
ideas
and exchange tools, techniques and experiences in the fields of
information
science and molecular biology. We invite the submission of original
research contributions that address how information science techniques
can be applied to molecular biology. Topics of interest include,
but are not limited to:

In Molecular Biology In Information Science

Biological Data Mining & Warehousing Algorithms
Classification and Clustering Data Structures
Conformational Space Analysis Genetic Computation
Drug Design Information Theory
Gene Finding Machine Learning
Motif Discovery Neural Networks
Protein Alignment Pattern Recognition
Sequence Comparison Visualization and Graphics
Structure Prediction Web Technology
