DM: RE: rule discovery algorithms

From: Abraham Meidan
Date: Sun, 21 Sep 1997 03:07:53 -0400 (EDT)

I was wondering if anyone out there knows of public domain algorithms
for
rule discovery. I already have or am in the process of obtaining
Brute,
CN2, and RIPPER. Thanks much.

WizSoft has two products that reveals all if-then rules (association
rules) and mathematical formula rules as well:
1. WizWhy for issuing predictions
2. WizRule for data auditing
Though both products are commercial, you can download their working
demos, which are limited just by the number of records in the data
set from WizSoft's web site: www.wizsoft.com
